Are You Independent?!

The other day I was annoyed by more than one person..
They are somehow close to me, but... I'm speechless, anyways...
I wrote that as a BBM (Black Berry Messenger) Broadcast and I sent it to my list. Most of them liked what I wrote, inducing the people I meant :)
So, I decided to share it..

ART Foundation - Spring'11

The first thing we did in art foundation was drawing "still-life" .. and we painted as well using water-colors.
That's my first collection

Second, we had to draw fruits & vegetables with all the details ..

water -color

Third, we learned the ORIGINAL way of print-making ..
I used wallpaper to cover the paper (leaves) and cleaning sponge to create the blue and red smudges.
I used 'Chopard' perfume cup to create these prints.

Finally, we learned the basics of Chinese painting, although it was hard at the beginning ..
In Chinese painting details does not matter as long as you maintain the principles of their beliefs.
Their painting is related to their religions and traditions, and they take it very serious.

Bamboo.
Fish.
Fruits and vegetables.
grapes.

Principles Of Design - Spring'11

Since I have no idea what shall I blog about and I just wanna blog.. I felt like blogging this .. it's never too late!!

our 1st project was to create 6 different compositions that represented one of the principles of design.
Top (left): Depth - Rhythm - Balance.
Bottom (left): Repetition - Focus with isolation - Movement.

the 2nd project was to create a module that represented one principle [movement]

So, we had to create shadows with torches, and snap pictures of them to do out next project .....
Yes, we where asked to draw shadows with lines, dots, and shapes.

Each one of us created her own color-wheel.
Primary colors: yellow - red - blue.
Secondary colors: orange - purple - green.
Tertiary colors: Yellow-Orange, Red-Orange / Red-Purple, Blue-Purple / Blue-Green, Yellow-Green.

So...... the shadows we drew before, in this project we painted it using acrylics. if you photocopy this picture u'll get the exact shadows.

Ooh, that was the Final Project .. a Collage of myself :D
